MBC Playgroup is a is a relaxed, friendly, fun, and safe community for little people (aged 0-5) and their adults. As you walk in there'll usually be a few people to say 'G'Day' and direct you to a sign in table where you can check in. There you'll also see an optional donation box that helps cover the costs of Playgroup supplies and support people in times of need - but there's no obligation, you're free to just come! Each week there's a time for open play and a variety of group activities that encourage social, physical, intellectual, and emotional development, including a craft activity, story time, song, and dance. Adults can enjoy a cuppa and a chat. We have an indoor area as well as a spacious yard, which is fully enclosed. We welcome parents, carers, friends, and family members of all descriptions! Here, you won't find "perfect parents" - just a bunch of everyday people hanging out and doing life together. We'd love to see you there!

We're glad you asked! Safety is a top priority. To help keep our little ones safe, everyone will be asked to sign in as they arrive. All members of the MBC Playgroup Team have completed "Safe Ministry Training"(https://safeministry.training/) and undergone a "Working with Children Check" screening process which includes reference checks. However, MBC Playgroup is more than just a physically safe place - it is also an emotional and spiritually safe place. Absolutely! MBC Sundays is full of people of all ages and stages. As you walk in there'll usually be a few people to say 'G'Day'. There are no assigned seats or special rows for certain people, just sit anywhere you like. We start off with a couple of songs then usually a talk for the kids, who are then invited to join in our MBC Kids program while the youth and adults spend time hearing a part of the Bible read and explored. There's a play mat for babies and a room for toddlers. After the service, lots of people stick around for a cuppa and some morning tea.
