MBC Youth is a fun (and free), inclusive community of kids and young adults (from years 6-12) that's all about Jesus - the Jesus revealed to us in the Bible.
Each week we check out what the Bible says about following Jesus, have loads of fun, and work at building real relationships of support and encouragement among a safe network of friends and experienced leaders.
We're glad you asked! Safety is a top priority.
We know we wouldn't leave our teens with just anyone and we don't expect you to either. Every MBC Youth leader has completed "Safe Ministry Training" and have undergone a "Working with Children Check" screening process which includes reference checks.
However, MBC Youth is more than just a physically safe place, it is also an emotional and spiritually safe place. We are a place where youth can ask tough questions and be in a relationship with leaders and other youth who support and care for each other.

You bet!
As you walk in there'll usually be a few people to say 'G'Day'. There are no assigned seats or special rows for certain people, just sit anywhere you like.
We start off with a couple of songs, then a talk for kids, who are then invited to join in our MBC Kids program while the youth and adults spend time hearing a chunk of the Bible read and explained. After this, youth in years 7-12 are invited to join in a small group discussion in a nearby room to keep opening the Bible, exploring and applying what they've just heard.
After the service, lots of people stick around to share a feed together (free of charge).
